DISH ASIA NETWORK is the first Tamil television platform in Europe and the Middle East, founded in 1996 in Paris. DAN first started broadcasting TRT (Tamil Radio & Television) the first ethnical channel broadcast from France and the first Tamil channel being broadcast outside of India.

DAN TV started terrestrial transmission in Sri Lanka and currently is available to viewers in Vavunia, Jaffna and Colombo.

Now DAN made historical remark that first Tamil channel being transmitting there program from one of there regional studio in Jaffna, Sri Lanka.
